
Three members of the Wilbraham & Monson Academy Field Hockey team have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad.
Alexa Fleury '18, Emma Stoll '18 and Celina Rivernider '19 were named to the team in mid-February based on their academic performance during the first marking period this school year at WMA.
High school field hockey players who are in their junior or senior years are eligible for the national team. In order to be selected, a player must have an unweighted GPA of 3.5 (of 4) or better.
This is the second year in row Alexa and Emma were named to the team.
Celina was honored with a Scholar of Distinction Award, given to juniors and seniors who have an unweighted GPA of 3.9 or better.
